For today’s Professional Speaker Training tip I wanted to answer Roy’s question from Facebook. He wanted to know if there is a day or an evening that you would not do a speaking event? It’s a great question, and after I recorded the video I realized that there is one other time which you should definitely avoid. The day your #1 competitor is holding their event. You should be on all the mailing lists for all of the speakers who you are in competition with, and even those outside of your niche. If you try to schedule a weekend event the day Anthony Robbins, or T Harv Eker, or Richard Branson is speaking, you will most likely find yourself having a hard time filling your event.
