LEGACY Entrepreneur is the package for you if you are already a professional speaker, or have aspirations to become one, and would like some mentoring along the way. This package is perfect for the independent entrepreneur who already knows what they need to do in order to succeed, but also appreciates the benefits of having someone who holds them accountable, and provides guidance along the way.
When I sit down with aspiring speakers, or entrepreneurs who are well on their way in their speaking career, the biggest complaints I hear are about how they love to speak, but hate the business side of things. From getting booked by promoters, selling from the platform, negotiating contracts, and all the little things that go with owning a speaking business. These things can make an otherwise dream career turn into a nightmare if you don’t know the ‘ins and outs’ of this business. And believe me – with over 20 years in this business I can tell you that this business is unique and while a traditional business acumen will help, there are some aspects of this business unique to the speaking world. That’s what LEGACY – Entrepreneur is all about. You don’t need advice on running a business, but you do need some guidance on how to make your business fit in the speaking world.
LEGACY – Entrepreneur is really best for 2 types of people:
- Entrepreneurs who have a succeeded in business outside the speaking world, and are now directing their attention to speaking.
- First time entrepreneurs who have a strong educational background in business, and wish to become a professional speaker.
LEGACY – Entrepreneur is a 10 day course which takes place annually in Tampa, FL concurrently with LEGACY – Presenter and LEGACY – Elite. The training is the same, the only thing that differs is the follow up services. LEGACY – Entrepreneur provides you with the platform skills necessary and the benefit of group mentoring on a bi-monthy basis.
The first mentoring session of each month is a structured lesson plan, very much like a webinar. You can listen to this session in real time, but if for whatever reason you cannot attend the live mentoring session, we provide an archived recording to listen to later. The second mentoring session of the month is an open frame session whereby you and the other participants can get online, and ask me any questions you might have about the speaking business and we can conduct a follow-up to the previous structured session to see how your incorporation of the information is working in your business. Many of our Legacy Alumni from past years have shared that this session is even more valuable than the structured session. Again, if you cannot attend the live session, we will provide a recording of the call for your review later.
